Organic Gardening Class—Monday, May 2nd

Organic Soil Class Pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides! Ever wonder if we might be healthier without them? If you answered yes, then consider attending an organic gardening class Monday, May 2, at 7 to 8 p.m. at the Northwest Wellness Center, 8600 S.W. Salish Lane in Wilsonville.

Conor McGeehan, Environmental Biologist, Sarah Grumbling, Organic Gardener and Mike Simington, Organic Farmer will present valuable info the importance and preparation of healthy soil, how, where and when to plant in our Willamette Valley and all the benefits of buying local, organically grown fruits and vegetables. Clackamas County Master Gardeners Presents "Secrets of the Tomato Masters"

Most people think last summer was a disaster for growing tomatoes. I grew 6 plants and harvested well over 100 pounds of (mostly) ripe tomatoes.
By late July, my heirloom 'Black Krim' was ripening.

What made the difference? I put to practice what I learned from the Tomato Masters. Below is information about a workshop where these masters will share all they know about growing healthy and productive tomatoes.
